Exus Renewables commissions 53MW of wind assets in Poland following PPA execution

The Jastrowie and Okonek wind farms are now delivering clean electricity to the Polish grid under a corporate PPA structure

Exus Renewables, the leading Energy Solutions Provider, has announced the commercial operation of the Jastrowie (30MW) and Okonek (23MW) wind farms in Poland, bringing a combined installed capacity of 53MW online. The projects, owned by Exus Renewables, were enabled in part through Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) with Amazon.

Together, the two wind farms are expected to generate around 116GWh of clean electricity each year, contributing to Poland’s energy transition. The PPAs also support Amazon’s efforts to decarbonise its operations.

This milestone represents a major achievement in development and construction, ensuring that the clean energy generated by both wind farms will help decarbonise Poland’s energy grid.

The commissioning of both assets further strengthens Exus Renewables’ position as a leading Energy Solutions Provider, offering clean energy solutions through PPAs to companies across Europe.

Under the National Energy and Climate Plan (NECP), Poland aims to generate 56% of its electricity from renewable energy sources by 2030. Wind is an integral part of this plan, and the Jastrowie and Okonek wind farms will play an essential role in helping Poland to reach this ambitious target.
