Exus Renewables Wins New Asset Management Mandate from Ingka Investments

Exus Renewables has secured a new 307MW asset management mandate from Ingka Investments

Exus Renewables has secured a new asset management mandate from Ingka Investments, the investment arm of Ingka Group, following the conclusion of a competitive tender covering more than 500MW of renewable energy capacity across Europe.

The contracts cover 23 wind farms and one grid infrastructure asset across seven countries. As part of this, Exus will oversee 307MW of assets in France and Germany, renewing its existing agreements, while also expanding its third-party asset management services into Poland for the first time. A move that aligns with Exus’s broader strategy to position itself as a global Energy Solutions Provider through a growing platform of integrated services.

The scope of work includes comprehensive asset management services, including technical, commercial, site management, and monitoring services.

“The goal of this tender was to optimize value through enhancing performance focus in management services, to implement a more structured and standardized asset management approach across our portfolio, and to consolidate the number of contract partners. We are very pleased with the tender's outcome and firmly believe that Exus and WPO will contribute to a more value-based asset management, aligned with our strategic focus”, says Mathieu Meijer, Head of Asset Management for operational assets at Ingka Investments.

“Being awarded for managing Ingka Investments’ assets represents a major step forward for Exus,” said Laurent Jouvin, Head of Operations at Exus Renewables. “It reflects the trust placed in us by Ingka Investments and demonstrates our ability to grow and adapt our services, not only by continuing our work in existing markets in France and Germany, but by extending our offering into Poland, where we already manage a 1.2GW proprietary portfolio.”

Looking ahead, Ingka Investments plans to launch new tenders for Asset Management Services in Finland, Iberia, and other regions in the coming years.
